Am I fan-girling? A little but only because I genuinely enjoyed using the Balance drops that were kindly gifted to me.
Now I have a confession to make... I'm not actually the biggest fan of natural/unflavoured CBD oils. I'll use them but given the option I will always take the flavoured route. This in itself can be a bit of a gamble as some companies put an overwhelming amount of artificial flavouring into their oils which make it taste unpleasant too but this isn't the case with Planthaya.
Broad spectrum and with 1000mg of CBD, this oil tastes good. Sweet and citrusy, it has no unpleasant after taste and I found that it went very nicely when added to my morning cup of Earl Grey (I like to pretend I'm fancy...) I also really liked the pipette used in the bottle, it clearly states how many millilitres of the oil has been picked up making dosing a piece of cake. Each 0.5ml contains 16.6mg of CBD and Planthaya recommend starting with one to two drops per day. However, as I've been using CBD for a few years I took a stronger dose of 4 drops per day (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening), working out at approximately 66mg of CBD per day.
This oil made me feel energised in the morning when I'm usually quite sluggish, helping me to start the day in a better mood. I think that when the colder, darker days kick in, I'll find myself reaching for this as I'm prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder. After I had taken this for a few days I found that my mood had improved overall and I was less prone to mood swings (brought to my attention by my boyfriend as he said I had been nicer). My back pain reduced to a dull ache and it stopped my radiating pain into my hips and legs. I also found that at the end of my working day I wasn't completely exhausted and I wasn't doubled over with pain caused by being on my feet for hours. So, you know, that was good.
