As the CBD market continues to grow (which can only be good news!) I find myself trying different types of CBD product but I will always find myself going back to using a tincture oil as I've found they're the most effective at managing my pain. For the sake of transparency, I always test oils in the same way; a few drops in the morning and a few drops in the evening dependant on the strength and my level of pain.
So, with that in mind, enter Green Active's 1000mg CBD oil. I actually received this oil towards the end of 2020 as a gift from the company and until recently haven't had the opportunity to try it. However, it was definitely worth the wait!
Green Active offer a wide range of CBD oils but after a chat with them it was decided that the 1000mg was the best fit for my needs. They remove all the plant fats and waxes from their full spectrum oils meaning you get all the additional goodness from the plant rather than just the CBD itself. In addition to this, Green Active use hemp that is organic and free from GMOs, herbicides and pesticides so you know this is a high quality product.
The carrier oil is coconut which accounts for the slightly sweet taste of it which I liked, plus the hemp flavour wasn't overwhelming and it was easy to wash down with my morning cup of tea. Each drop contains 5mg of CBD, I tended to have five drops in the morning and five in the evening before I went to sleep, therefore totalling 50mg in a day.
For me, the biggest impact this oil had was on my daily aches and pains. Over the last few weeks I have had an incredibly angry sciatic nerve which has resulted in sharp, radiating pains starting in my lower back which spread down into my hips and legs. From the first day I started using this oil, it zapped away those pains pretty darn quickly and kept them at bay throughout the day, even when I'd been rushed off my feet and had barely sat down. I also noticed that I slept better on account of not being woken up by pain or because mentally I couldn't switch off.
Green Active 1000mg Oil is £39.99 for 10ml.
